Changed the words to Randy Newman’s “I Love L.A.” in honor of the ballet company I work for, and as a sort of diss track to Timothee Chalamet after he made negative comments about ballet… and broke out the surprise costume.

I helped arrange this and teach the choir, and got to play electric bass that day. A very impactful MLK week chapel service. One of my favorite songs.

An original bebop style tune I wrote, in the style of Charlie Parker, Bud Powell, etc. For those with ears to hear, there is an homage to the second movement of Beethoven’s 5th symphony snuck in there…. because I love Beethoven.
